Have you stopped delegating jobs because the people you are delegating them to simply aren’t doing a good enough job? Before you go back to doing it all yourself, take a look at the way you delegate. Do you just give a list of verbal instructions? You may not be communicating as clearly as you thought you were.
Instead, show your employees exactly what you want done as you tell them what to do. Then, have them do it once while you watch. You should find that most of the tasks you delegate will go smoothly if you take the time to follow these steps.
