Being adept with technical knowledge and information with regards to a certain thing is a whole lot different when compared to putting together a team and leading by example. For sure, there is a distinct difference between the two. In most cases, a conflict of interest may arise, siding with one expertise over the other is not really a fair and proper way to negotiate for the solution towards the problem at hand, but more on a conflict of interest to which most people would want to avoid. No doubt that people who have garnered the proper knowledge through studies, mentoring and apprenticeship will be an advantage for any person in any endeavor. However, being able to deliver and pass this on towards students for the proper way of learning is another manner to which most people should consider. Not all good leaders can be teachers and in the same way, not all good teachers can be good leaders. In such crisis, a decision has to be made, and honestly, such will not sit well with all parties concerned. Varying inputs, beliefs and decisions shall be put into the mix, most of the time setting a barrier and a world divided. In any case, the ultimate decision should be for the welfare of the majority and should not be for the sole interest and good of one man alone.
