From War in Iraq to War at the White House

If Saddam Hussein was alive and kicking today, he may be laughing his heads off seeing the US government fighting among themselves. Ironically, the issue for their squabbles is about the continuing issue of the war in Iraq. US government officials including President Bush should be ashamed at their acts and get themselves back in composure.

>Government War

For weeks now, the headlines have been all about the elections and the war in Iraq. The issue? When will the Iraq war end and when will there be a definite picture of the overall security of the nation? These are the questions that are surely in the minds of US citizens which are not being answered as their continuous arguments seem to be never ending.

As it stands now, the US is in disarray because of it and such has been making the nation divided. Unless something concrete or a resolution is agreed on, it seems hopeless to read the papers on the latest developments of the controversies in the area of politics today.

On Health Care Insurance and Taxes

Healthcare, an obviously growing market to which a large chunk of income is expected to pass through has been tagged as the area to which proper taxation should be imposed. The US government has been busy catering towards the current tax issues on various fields that it has totally forgotten about other areas that can help in financing it budget issues, most of which have been garnering insights with regards to budget issues for tax reforms to date.

No Health Insurance?

As always, the frontrunner in pursuing this is no one else but President George Bush, who is totally aware that health insurance and coverage are becoming popular locally. Health has been given a lot of importance to date with people becoming more aware of its role in the life of any person, both young and old.

Health insurance is only normal since the rising cost in the medical field is a need to keep people healthy. However, it should be noted that people will have to be properly educated that taxes corresponding to such a source is helpful not only for the government but in funding affected areas that a country has to attend to as well.

Senate Enforces a Cool Change for Bush

It was only a matter of time before Bush had it coming. Seeing that Bush has slowly been getting out of hand with his obvious hunger for power, the Senate Democrats are busy drafting a legislative resolution to revoke the broad authority of power granted to the US president. Incidentally, it was the same group that granted President Bush full authority, stemming from the Saddam Hussein issue which has obviously died down ever since he was executed some months back.

Stopping Bush from War

Despite the evident elimination of Hussein from the picture, Bush has still chosen to go on the offensive by moving to send additional troops to Iraq and seek total domination for a vendetta that has obviously become a personal grudge. This move has drawn the ire of his supporting nation, clamoring for the end of the loss of innocent lives and opting for a more peaceful resolution of the matter. Sad to note, such has not been heeded and the evident offensive towards war is still wandering in the air over the United States of America.

Candidates Shift towards Fundraising Events

Fundraising has always been known to be something that would help the people in need such as the disabled, people living in poverty and the aged. But for Presidential candidate Barack Obama, the funds were given for a worthy cause.

Barack Obama and Hollywood Fundraising

A large chunk of the funds from his recent fundraiser in Los Angeles came from the bigwigs of the movie industry such as George Clooney and Barbara Streisand. Rolling in the funds was a form of support to help candidates in bankrolling the estimated amounts for the upcoming campaigns to help candidates.

Other candidates including that of President Bush are expected to follow suite in the coming months. This is in preparation for the 2008 elections where various issues, the major one of which is that of the Iraqi War, are to be attended to.

The ability of Obama to convince and solicit the supporting funds from the stars of Hollywood may be eye-popping, but perhaps Obama truly has something up his sleeve to help the ailing nation in need of a true leader.

Negotiations for Allied Peace Efforts

Among the usual headlines that leading newspapers would offer are about the current economic situation and the world order. The struggles for power in both the local and international aspect are what make the world both interesting and pathetic in the eyes of people today.

World Peace

Hunger for power and world domination starting from their homelands can be attributed to the fact that country officials have a high degree of satisfaction with regards to how a country is run, most of which would draw the usual comments and reactions on how to establish better economies and sound social functions.

But the most talked about issue today would have to deal with the constant bickering for the right to power and control. The United States and most of the allied nations of the U.N. would attest to the fact that this is the issue that everyone would want to address and put to rest. While all nations are seen to be at peace, internal shortcomings and ideas are kept in cold storage until the time comes for them to be put into discussion.

It is not feasible to become courageous enough and start a panic when it comes to the overall peace and order of the world and its composing nations. Conservative overviews on how to go about the situation must be exercised if people would want to hold back their plans for the meantime.

US Elections Focusing Too Much on Iraq Conflict

As in most elections, the usual denominator would be that of to find a key area of interest that would further get the attention and nod of possible voters to pay more attention to them and their supposed purpose for running for office. For any electoral candidate, this is the flagship of their overall campaign. And to get the attention would indeed circle around current issues to which people would want answers and actions towards addressing them and what they may have in store for such.

Fake Candidates and Empty Promises

The real question remains, are these claims for course of action towards standing issues for real or simply for word of mouth only to get the approval of their votes. Such would not be really surprising considering that it has been a traditional practice that candidates would make promises but nothing would materialize in the end. But people are wiser. Beforehand, they would know if they are really capable of doing such promises or are simply in it to buy the vote of the people.

First Iraq and now Iran gets Bush’ Goat

US President Bush seems to love it when he adds more wood to fire. Already burdened with the issue regarding the opposition of the Democratic Party with regards to his move to send additional troops, he now focuses his attention in pointing to Iran as the culprit in supplying Iraq with armor-piercing weapons to battle and annihilate US soldiers in the ongoing war.

Bush versus Iran and Iraq

Iran has been rumored to be on aggressively manufacturing and distributing arms to Iraq, even to the extent of nuclear firepower. Seemingly, the issue is seen as escalating as Bush seems to want full control of the situation despite withdrawal of support from his fellow countrymen and allied nations.

Separating the personal vendetta for the good of all should be taken into consideration by the US president. The Iraq war seems to be existent because of his wrong decision-making schemes. As it stands now, everything would seem to settle down once Bush wises up and approaches the whole conflict with an open minded through liberal thinking.

Why Politicians Should Choose their Words

The manner of speaking to which politicians may be quoted, handing out speeches and other probable statements made in public should be done in an analytical process. The kind of impact that such remarks made to the open may encounter mixed reactions, mainly because the listening audience may not immediately understand the gist of the message being sent.

Barack Obama

A lot of this would have to do with regards to addressing delicate issues such as that of the lives that were wasted remarks by democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Stating that “lives were waster” in the Iraq war was taken in a different impact. Rather, as claimed by Obama, it was meant to address the lack of sensitivity that the civilian leadership had over the sending of troops to battle the Iraq war.

While apologies can be made, damage will have already been done. The immediate reaction of people will continue to stay and such will be an impact with regards to future statements. That is why it would be best to think, analyze and deliver first before making such speeches, especially when a person finds himself in public office.

Democrats Oppose Move To Send More Troops to Iraq

As expected, the motion made by US President Bush with regards to sending additional troops to Iraq is expected to encounter rough opposition. Risking further casualties and incrementally deducting the US participation in the war is what the democratic leaders are aiming for since national security of the country itself is more important.

Democratic Opposition for Bush

From all indications, the war is deemed to be inappropriate at this point, considering that Iraq will only go head to head with the possible assault of the United States troops once provoked. It should also be noted that the allied nations have withdrawn their support to try and put an end to the famous Iraqi crisis.

Debates with regards to this motion will surely be dramatic as the call to end the suffering and the war in Iraq is the obvious itinerary from all angles. For what its worth, sparing the lives of soldiers at this point for the sake of the country seems the appropriate measure for the US.

Addressing the Energy Issue Proposal of Bush

In President Bush’ last State of the Union address; it was clear that among his proposals included that of the energy crisis that the country was experiencing. Apparently the current energy sources today are becoming insufficient for the country and that the need to look for alternative means of generating energy has become imminent to retain the competency of the nation today.

US Energy Shortage

The mention of such alternatives such as increasing the production of ethanol from noncorn feedstocks. Such has been identified as a good means of providing the additional energy for consumption in the growing population and demand for energy today. Other possible source of adding towards this need includes that of soybean-based biodiesel.

This developed as the current stock of noncorn feeds may be insufficient to address the assistance expected from them to generate the needed power. But the last say would still be left unto congress, the body that will evidently pass down the final approval just in case.
