Anti-Terror Legislation passed by US Democrats as Promised

Learning from the 9/11 attacks and the continued wrath of terror worldwide, the United States house parties have started passing of the various bills to keep its word of a string of promises made last fall.

Security is certainly the top issue for the United States at the moment, as it has been the target of most terrorists for the past years. It will be recalled that the World Trade Center debacle was the chief instigator of it all, where innocent bystanders and workers perished during the merciless attack on the United States.

Tighter Security Measures

It can be noted that a number of new techniques to carry out these terrorism attacks have been apprehended, and while there is no promise that all of these attempts can be countered or addressed, immediate security measures and policies have been sent out for the benefit of the casual population today.

It is obvious that the critical point for which these devices of terrorism can originate is from the same way that the World Trade Center was attacked, that of which is through aeronautical means of travel and transport towards various countries of the world.

New Iraqi Plan of Attack to be Announced…Again?

President Bush' Announcement

For days now, there have been rumors, news, gossips and speculations regarding the new plan of attack that United States President Bush has been keeping under wraps with regards to the Iraq war issue. The overall gist of the announcements has been regarding the deployment of additional troops to the war plagued nation.

As always, this has drawn continued criticism of the seemingly never ending conflict. Being more on the offensive seems to be harvesting the war and allowing it to reach outrageous levels rather than ending it. Such can be seen from the various criticisms that Bush has been receiving from his countrymen and some nations as well.

The insights shared by the democratic front of the US are only normal. War casualties are growing and sending more to prove the power of the US is only aggravating the issue. For sure, this issue will rest in the annals of US history as conflicting and for Bush, it seems that it has become more of a personal war and vendetta rather than resolving an issue that can obviously be settled with the elimination of where it all started, that of which was with the late Saddam Hussein.

Points to Consider after Saddam Hussein’s CLAIMED Execution

Saddam Hussein

So the talk of the town at the moment is the claimed execution of one of the merciless dictators from Iraq, Saddam Hussein. For sure, a lot of people are relieved, celebrating and heaving a sigh of relief that this issue has been laid to rest. Or has it?

Saddam will always be remembered for orchestrating such devious acts such as that of declaring war on the United States, the World Trade Center Massacre or now popularly known as 9/11, and creating havoc by executing certain people in Iraq, his point of origin. Saddam was sentenced to death by hanging and was executed in Baghdad as reported in various news organizations over the world.

Some questions in mind, was he really hanged and executed? Why were images only seen about Saddam being prepared for execution? Why was the body after execution never shown? Did the intelligence teams and security task force deployed on his behalf really gather all the supporters and loyal descendants of Saddam to ensure world peace and safety?

There is still much to answer and expect for. But as far as the issue is concerned, Iraq is still at war and President Bush is still under fire. Terrorism for the meantime cannot be claimed to be officially over. Besides, if Saddam Hussein can come into power and declare war and create the damage to powerful nations such as the United States, what would stop other from following them?

Reality check, there is still this standing issue with regards to why North Korea is doing these nuclear testing things over in the Asian region. Iraq may be hiding something since war and death tolls are still rising. With these points in tow, anything is still possible. Let us just hope that the chosen people to ensure security for their respective countries do not let their guards down in the height of these events.

Did Saddam Hussein Really Have a Fair Trial Prior to Execution?

World Trade Center Attack 2001

It has been a couple of days before the celebrated execution of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and there have been separate reactions from different parts of the world. Some sectors have condemned the decisions while others have heaved a sigh of relief citing that justice has been served for the many people who were victims of Hussein’s reign of terror.

A lot of people are questioning the manner to which the trial was conducted. Some groups were surprised at the speed to which the death sentence for Hussein was carried out. The fast verdict drew various reactions all over the world, especially the dictator’s hometown.

This issue has created more issues at the moment and it will take some time before it officially dies down. The United States, particularly the Bush administration, has been receiving a lot of criticism on having a hand on the speedy decision. This is due to the fact that the United States was the main benefactor of casualties, notably the World Trade Center Attacks of September 11, 2001.
