Employee Unions that are usually put up by leaders to safeguard the rights and due from companies are often up for criticism by most sectors. Some companies avoid these labor unions as much as possible, because ideally, they are key ingredients for trouble and conflicts in a corporate setting. Most of the time headaches will ensue, especially on the part of assigned human resources personnel, the department that is usually caught in between the bargaining process of a company and its employees. 

 

The collective bargaining agreement is a binding contract that specifies the facts, agreements and package that has been rationally agreed upon by both leaders, one from the company, and the other the labor leader assigned to negotiate the pact. This usually takes a long process, most of the time caused by disagreements on certain components of the CBA agreement. Rarely will there be an immediate consent from both parties, in most cases stand-offs are experienced when neither wants to budge and give way. The Collective Bargaining Agreement aims to equalize and settle issues and concerns largely on the compensation of the employee and the expected production that a company can expect from them. The best solution for such scenarios is usually the settled contract between the company and the employee requisitions.

For most companies, leaning on the trends of the more talked about and ideal promotional campaigns are the only way to boost the exposure level need for a product or service. This work is more on a personnel matter rather than an organizational concern. Administrative and Human Resources departments are responsible for the proper identification of needs and ensuring that they are kept in line and following the set guidelines, policies and procedures that the company enforces. While their duties are more efficiently evaluated by their immediate supervisors and department, the proper monitoring and feedback with regards to performance and corporate loyalty are left to the jurisdiction of the human resources department.

For most companies, having a personnel department to handle these issues, provides an able support for most management teams, leaving the headaches for erring employees to their mercy. Other organizations, which make do without a human resources department, approach such issues carefully, and ideally, the proper procedure for them is to immediately terminate the employee without just cause. This is easier said than done, but the process of termination should be done in a systematic manner, usually done through initial verbal warnings, memorandums and the like, all depending on the severity of the offense made. The process is not really a personal vendetta for most organizations, but merely implementing a professional way of handling.

 

Usually, most people would take this in a different way, especially the rank and file personnel who only care about compensation and benefits. The law of averages will eventually catch up with them, and when it does, they should be prepared to face the consequences, especially people who are caught cheating and fooling the companies by practices that are totally unprofessional and unacceptable towards corporate operations and loyalty.

This has been the practice that has governed a large part of the money making practices that people can expect when they are able to share with other people the gathered information and knowledge that they have accumulated for the past couple of years. 

Blogging and content writing has become evidently in demand, but the true sensible things for topics up for consideration that will aid most information hungry people has been totally forgotten. Driving traffic, the proper selection of keywords that people will type in their search engine browsers such as Google and Yahoo, has become the main concern for most Internet accessing individuals. In one of the newsletters that were sent to me regarding Search Engine Optimization, one thing struck me the most that of which is repetition in lieu of content sensibility. It doesn’t need to be expounded on, because true enough, this has been the common thing that most people have been doing nowadays, placing a ridiculous amount of similar words in a written article just to come out once a search query from search engines are done.

A nonsense article will surely be something that people would not waste time reading or referring to. If there is a glitch that Google may have overlooked, it all boils down to quality content from articles done. Most of the time, it requires manual intervention from the groups which use content writing and blogging as their main field of business. However, given time, it will not be surprising when one day, Google or any other SEO Optimizing affiliates and sites will add content quality as among the key aspects of quality made articles in quality handled websites.

It wasn’t until I took up my MBA at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business that I realized the importance and value of seeing corporate mission and vision instilled in business organizations. Back in 1994, this practice was never followed. Most organizations would simply be occupied with getting effective people, and would often brainstorm for business expansion and improvement, not realizing that in the start, the whole process had no direction at all. 

Imagine joining an organization just for the sake of getting work without knowing what a company’s purpose for existence and long term goals are. Ironically, applicants could care less, and besides, revenue and earning a living is all that matters above everything else. A people filled with people may be overstaffed in most cases, each employee probably doing the same routine work that is similar to other employees in the same department. Now people would not want multi-tasking of course, but in most cases, a clear definition of multi-tasking should be taken out for the purpose of fully understanding what this really means. Mission and Vision Statement

Multi-tasking is simply known as doing a number of duties that should be assigned to different people. A task is something that will be present in the job descriptions of employees, and while people don’t really care much about it, it is easy to sense when one is already doing multi-tasking jobs. One aspect that stands out is doing a line of work that has totally nothing to do with his current field. Like for example, a marketing person who also does financial audit work is a clear example of multi-tasking. But a job that is inclined on clerical duties, but would eventually evolve towards a computer encoding job is not. This is a notion that people would consider not in their job description. This is actually enhancing their job and making life easier for them. Remaining satisfied in one line of work that has been the usual practice will eventually be enhanced at some point, and with technology’s fast evolvement, it is not surprising that usual routine work requires some effort as far as making it work. 

Computerization and systems implementation to assist people in their daily responsibilities will only work if the proper information and adjustments of procedures have been done. A system is usually viewed as something that will do all the work, but without inputs coming from employees, it is a total waste of time in investment. This is something that most people should understand, and lastly, something that they should not consider as replacing their place in the corporate hierarchy. No businesses will success without the guide of local manpower. They are still needed to ensure that a machine can operate properly and efficiently and not to mention that system enhancements originate from the people who have been accustomed to their daily job responsibilities, something that most system input will need.
